Sanrio characters have always been a source of comfort and joy for me — their gentle expressions and soft colours feel like a warm hug. When I designed this scene, I wanted to bring together three of my favourites: Piano, with her fluffy lavender wool and sweet heart accessory; My Melody, with her iconic pink hood and cheerful curls; and Flat, the little blue mouse who adds just the right touch of playfulness. The brown outline felt more natural and warm than black, and the transparent border gives the whole panel a polished finish.
