I've always loved the image of a bear peeking over a cake – it's curious, a little mischievous, and completely endearing. This piece started with the bear: a warm brown face with a tiny paw just resting on the edge of the dessert. The cake grew around it – a golden base, a pale blue cream layer with colourful sprinkles, and a bright red cherry on top.
